Photo Essay: History

History. The thing that describes us. It gives us a window into the past, yes. But also a way to see what the future holds. History shows us what we have gone through. How perseverance has shaped us. How structures still stand today. History is ancient castles, mysterious rocks and governmental symbolism. History is a number of things, some you can’t even understand. History is basically what shapes the world, so it’s interesting to see it all put together. Because if you think about it, you’re making history right now.

London in 2 Days

London is so many different things. It’s different districts captivate different things people love. As much as The West End’s expensive taste and extravagant shopping attracts tourists, The City’s ancient history and architecture is a must-do. But I did what I could in the time I had and it just showed me how much I needed to come back. Day 1: Southbank and The City With some of London’s most beautiful features and well known landmarks,…

Which State is Right for You

Whether you live in the USA or if you want to come visit, it’s a huge country. And by huge, I mean huge. Now, if you’re coming from out of the US and want to know where you want to visit, this will help you. You can’t just say “I’m going to the US!” Unfortunately, it doesn’t work like that. Nope. It should be “I’m going to California!” or “I’m going to Utah!” You need…

Why I Don’t Think the Smithsonian Museums are Worth It

When I say worth it, I mean worth the time. Not the money. Because they’re free. That’s one of the things that make them pull in more and more tourists. But if you’re time crunched and stressing out about what you can fit in, don’t try and do everything! Just don’t do the Smithsonian Museums! They may have some awesome stuff! They’re great to visit, especially for kids. But not nearly as great as other things, like the national galleries or the white house. But they bored me. They wasted the one day I had in Washington DC. Sorry if I’m…

Canyonlands vs Arches National Park

Utah has the third most national parks of any state, but has the 13th most land of any state. Utah is filled with 5 national parks. Zion, Bryce Canyon, Capitol Reef, Canyonlands and Arches. Canyonlands and Arches National Parks surround the city of Moab. Moab is a very touristy city. Jeep rentals, tours and motels crowd the area, while crazy rock formations surround it. However, you don’t want to waste the time you have in Moab! You want to spend the time you have in the right places. Arches National Park receives 1.5 million visitors annually, while Canyonlands much less,…
