Which State is Right for You

Whether you live in the USA or if you want to come visit, it’s a huge country. And by huge, I mean huge. With 50 states and 1 federal district, it reaches from one ocean to another, and contains 3 major mountain ranges and a variety of ecosystems.

Now, if you’re coming from out of the US and want to know where you want to visit, this will help you. You can’t just say “I’m going to the US!” Unfortunately, it doesn’t work like that. Nope. It should be “I’m going to California!” or “I’m going to Utah!” You need to specify.

Now, If you live in the US and are looking for a much more budget option for vacation, find some awesome new holiday ideas right here!

Best Beach Destination

Sunny California
Sunny California

I think it’s pretty well known that California has some amazing beaches. Golden sands, tall palms and warm waters. One of my favorite beaches is Pismo Beach, which is not as well known as others, but is well worth it. Its tranquility and relaxing perfection make for a great getaway down in San Luis Obispo.

Bakers Beach

Although California may have very warm beaches, San Francisco has some pretty cold ones. Bakers Beach, shown above, is my favorite in California for beautiful views. Check out all the best photos here. Along with being in an amazing city, you can see the Golden Gate and catch astonishing sunsets at the same time! So go catch some amazing beaches in SoCal or NorCal.

Best City Destination

Imperial Rays

I think we all know that New York City is magnificent. The largest city in the USA and 24th largest in the world, NYC has the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere and, of course, the Empire State. It’s an amazing city filled with cultural diversity and beauty like no other. Check out my complete guide of New York City here. If you need a way to budget travel this wondrous metropolis, check out how CityPASS can help you. And go visit NYC as the top city destination in the US!

Best Mountain Destination

Maroon Bells Wilderness

A fourteener is a mountain above 14,000 feet. There are 96 of them in the United States. Colorado has 53 of them. Above is Maroon Peak, the 56th tallest mountain in the US and a fourteener in itself. The Maroon Bells, also pictured above, are a beautiful pair of peaks that tower above the city of Aspen and share Colorado as a home with the rest of the Rocky Mountain range’s most beautiful. Ski or hike, you choose!

Best Beauty Destination

Utah may not be filled with towering peaks, sky high skyscrapers or sunny beaches. But it certainly is something else. Moab is a captivating destination of absolute power, color and beauty. It’s national parks are some of the best in the country, and are perfect for jeeping around.

Delicate Arch

60 feet of arch make you wonder, what state compares to Utah for sheer natural beauty?

Best Natural State

Oregon may be one of the only states that rivals Utah for such amazing natural, stunning features. A very geographically diverse state, Oregon offers it’s visitors and residents high snowy peaks, volcanic craters, rainforests, rocky coastline and fertile valleys. It is the best package deal, and the most dense with stuff to see and things to do.

It's Gorge-ous
It’s Gorge-ous

Check out Mt. Hood for the best mountain views, NNVM for ginormous volcanic craters, Crater Lake for some beautiful vistas, and here for some great swimming spots. Oregon is beautiful, so take hold of it!

Best Honeymoon State

South Carolina

South Carolina may be one of my favorite places to be. Walking through downtown Charleston, you feel at home. And it is perfect for couples. Although it’s perfect for families as well. It has amazing, colorful houses and almost Caribbean waters, but without the hassle, expensiveness and business that Florida does. It gives you satisfaction without even trying.

Blue skies, green palms, and yellow sands puts SC close to the top of my ‘return to’ list. Check out everything you can do here to have the best vacation you can have.

Best State

I may be a bit biased. But that doesn’t mean I’m wrong. Washington is, by far, the best state. I have lived here for 7 years and have not stopped gaining content and photos from the beauty we have access to here.
